Aveda is held on a pedestal in my mind as the highest quality beauty products I can buy. My personal main focus is on their hair care products, being that I strongly value the quality of my hair as one of my bodily features that I want to be the best. However, Aveda has many superior beauty products for the whole body such as massage oil, sunblock, facial wash, cosmetics, and more.

Steel boning makes a very significant difference in corset quality. What's exciting about their steel-boned corsets is that they're usually a bit less than $100 for overbusts and they come in a wide variety of styles! Other places sell overbusts for a much higher price (I've seen them cost about double that price), and the style options are a bit limited. The fashion corsets are priced lower and if you don't mind less support and durability, they have many fantastic styles in those as well! Not to mention they sell skirts, faux lashes, top hats, and other accessories.

* Waist training is the practice of wearing a tightly-laced corset to achieve extreme modifications to the figure and posture and experience the sensations of a very tight corset. Waist traing is not suitable for teenagers or adults who are still developing. There are many adverse health effects associated with it such as altering the ribcage and decreasing lung capacity, and it is sometimes used to make the waist extremely unnaturally & disproportionately smaller, so it is not generally recommended by Mistress Ravine. MR does not support unnecessary bodily modifications that are influenced by society's unrealistic and harmful ideals of women (such as this, breast augmentation, labiaplasty, etc). While they do have sizing charts on their site, one of my main deterrants from purchasing from Visual You is their non-standard clothing sizes, which makes me a bit uncertain I will fit their clothing. However, the reason for their non-standard sizes is that they design 90% of their apparel and accessory product line by themselves and manufacture most of their items (from printing t-shirts to sewing bags, knit hats, accessories, etc.)'. They 'are not a kind of big chain business, but rather focus on originality, quality and establishing amicable relationships with our customers and friends'.
